We are a ladies innerwear manufacturer based in Chennai. We are looking for sales executives to market our products to large department stores and also independent retailers in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. Your responsibilities will be but not limited to the following: Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers Visiting potential customers for new business Making accurate, rapid cost calculations Providing customers with quotations Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales Gathering market and customer information Providing feedback on future buying trends Liaising with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders The people that we are looking for should have prior experience of sales within the garment industry. We will pay a basic salary plus travel expenses and telephone charges. Sales commission will be paid on achieving and exceeding sales targets. We are only interested in talking to people who are capable of developing sales in geographical areas where we are not being represented. There will be a probation period where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skill in achieving targets.
